A 19th Century Korean double Nong chest decorated with Phoenixes and dragons. Speckled with gold flecks onto dry lacquer inlaid with mother of pearl, horn and brass. The circular brass hardware is cast in the form of a shou symbology, longevity and happiness. The double doors swing out exposing the compartment's navy blue gauzy fabric. The chest has a built in stand.

Korean furniture is highly sought after and difficult to find due to its exemplary craftsmanship.
