Antique Chinese pair of spinach green jade vases. Each vase has a flattened gu-from with flared trumpet neck and a bulbous center. Splayed bases fit on small wooden stands. The thinly carved jade has a beautiful translucency with mottled dark green matrix. Provenance: Estate of Reynold Tom of Oakland, California.
