Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, of a tall trumpeted form, with blue underglaze scene of people gathering on the shoreline to gaze upwards at Shoulao soaring on the back of a crane. Shoulao is one of the Three Star Gods of Fortune known as Fu Lu Shou, who represent happiness and prosperity, status and authority and health and longevity. The top and bottom of the vase are incised near the edge with a band of floral scroll motifs.   Dates from 20th century Dimensions: 8" w x 19" h
