Japanese antique iron tomiodaie (Shinto candle stand), flaming drop shape hoju no tama, the wish granting symbol which grants enlightenment and release from earthly desires, Japanese writing on the cloud like portion at the bottom of the drop, holds 12 candles, Taisho/Showa Period. (c 1930).
