Japanese 2-section Matsumoto Isho Tansu
Antique Japanese 2-section isho tansu (clothing chest), sugi (cryptomeria) frame and keyaki (elm) wood drawer fronts, beautiful keyaki grain used, original deep translucent orange lacquer finish on drawer fronts, the frame including sides and top are lacquered with a translucent red finish (also original), iron hardware including warabite shaped drawer pulls and round lock plates, Meiji Period (1868-1912).
