Beautiful Japanese Art Deco Period lacquer box with stylized design of wheat, wonderfully bold and unusual , brown, rust, and gold lacquer on beige ground, inlaid with mother of pearl, black lacquer on back and interior, silver rims, unusual angled corners, with signed kiri tomobako, early Showa Period (c. 1930's).
