Antique Japanese 2-section mizuya (kitchen tansu), made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood in a natural light blond color, accented by contrasting dark solid keyaki (elm) wood burl on drawer fronts and slider panels, persimmon dove tails on slider bottoms to prevent wearing down, copper hardware with round drawer handles, original wire mesh and beautifully carved open lattice work sliding panels, Meiji Period (1868-1912).
