Antique Japanese Karuma (wheeled tansu), Mikuni Area
Beautiful antique Japanese karuma tansu (wheeled chest), made of keyaki wood with original red/orange finish, original heavy iron hardware, safe box with drawers, comes with two removable locking bars and 2 keys, from the Mikuni area of Japan, late Edo/early Meiji Period (c. 1860's).
Size: 47 1/2" high x 53 1/2" wide x 23" deep.
