Japanese Katana Chest, Edo Period
Japanese Katana (sword) chest with original iron hardware. Two drawers for storage of swords and sword paraphenalia. Very good condition. Late Edo Period. Inscription on the bottom reads "Good day of July, 1833, Miura, Shonai-han." 15-1/8" high, 45-1/4" long, 14-5/8" deep.
