Antique Japanese Choba Tansu (merchant's chest)
Japanese merchant's chest (choba tansu) from the Gifu area, made of hinoki (cypress), and sugi (cryptomeria) woods with keyaki (elm) wood small slider panels, small sliding panels on lower right cover two small drawers, all iron hardware, Meiji Period (c. 1880's).
