Contemporary Japanese long solid Keyaki hardwood mizuya. Kitchen tansu with four sets of sliding front panels with vertical slats. Very spacious interior with plentiful shelving and storage. Beautiful natural woodgrain and original finish. Extremely heavy as this entire piece is make from keyaki hardwood. Made at a very high level done all in Japanese fashion with no nails.

Dramatic 16th Century Thai Ayutthaya Buddha Statue Fragment
Antique Thai sandstone statue fragment of the Ayutthaya style Buddha's torso. One arm remains attached to the body while the full statue sits in the lotus meditation pose. The torso is affixed to a custom iron stand. 16-17th century. Very dramatic and unusual piece.

Ming Dynasty Chinese Buddha's Attendant Stone Head
Antique Chinese stone statue fragment of the head of one of the attendants to Buddha. One hand rests over the right ear while the other ear is left uncovered. The eyes are closed in meditation. Brings fourth a calming enlightened feeling. Sits on custom black iron stand. Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).

Antique Japanese two section Isho Tansu made from Solid kiri (paulownia) wood. Originally used to store clothing along with other fabrics. Classic design with heavy rounded simplistic Iron hardware and warabite shaped handles. Original all-natural finish truly allows for the beautiful wood to glow.
The two sections do allow the piece to be stacked and locked upon itself by the Iron hardware on each side.

Rare Antique Japanese Keyaki Burl Choba Tansu
Rare and unusual Antique Japanese Keyaki (elm) burl chose tansu. The pair of sliding doors has elegantly hand carved paneling with multiple storage shelving within. Bold pierced iron hardware decorating each drawer corner with kakute (square) handles and locks. Stunning original deep red finish complimenting the natural burl woodgrain. Excellent hardware and unusual design. Edo Period (circa 1840's).

Antique Japanese Shikoku Pilgrim's Coat
Antique Japanese Buddhist Pilgrim's coat. Buddhist monks associated with the teachings of Kukai (or Kobo Daishi) would embark on a pilgrimage to visit the 88 temples on the island of Shikoku. Upon arriving to each temple, the monk would bathe before giving offerings and reciting prayers as well as receive a stamp distinctive to each temple. Antique Japanese hand embroidered Sakiori vest. Made from hand-woven and dyed indigo cotton with Sashiko patchwork. Each sakiori vest is 100% individual and handmade. Making them one of a kind pieces. Originally used by an individual that would have pulled a snow sled. Japanese Antique Embroidered Silk Wall Hanging
A beautiful Japanese hand-embroidered silk wall hanging with a scene of two elegantly fighting roosters. Each one surrounded by nicely detailed dandelions and chrysanthemums. Forbidden stitch work used in the center of each flower. Pine tree branches overhang the scene with interesting fine detail. The bottom left is embroidered with a red jar bearing artist's signature.
