Original Small Antique Japanese choba dansu (merchant's chest) with locking bar and locking safe box. Made with keyaki (elm) hardwood with beautiful original grain on front, reddish orange translucent lacquer on front. Top and sides as well as the frame on the front are all lacquered black.
