Stunning 18th Century Japanese Lacquer Inro
Beautiful Japanese inro with a swimming highly detailed koi fish on each side. Each koi is delicately carved out of tortoise shell with glass eyes and details in gold lacquer. The body of the info is original lacquer in gold with with gold details and raised tendrils of water. 4 individual pieces (3 compartments), signed on bottom "Kyushi", Edo Period Early 18th century.

Antique Ming Dynasty Chinese iron plaque of buddhas from the Ming Dynasty. Each Buddha is seated on a lotus blossom with hands in the dhyana mudra of meditation. Between each buddha is an inscription of chinese characters. The unusual plaque has been forged in Iron.

The This lantern has four panels: the door: a bird, bamboo branch, tree, sun in the clouds. The lid is round with a handle for hanging. The base is round with three feet. The door latches closed. It measures 11" diameter, 8" tall. Taisho period, circa 1920.
Antique Japanese Zenibako
Antique Japanese zenibako also know as a money safe box. Original deep lacquer finish, hinged lid with Iron handle and money slot beside it. Money was dropped inside and is retrieved by opening the drawer directly below it. Two other drawers free of locks may be used for storage as well.

Antique Japanese Fukushima Isho Tansu
Antique Japanese two section lacquered tansu from the Fukushima region with bold round locks incised with kiri leaf mon (crest). Beautiful Burl front safe box with three small drawers inside. Iron side handles to secure each section in place. Original finish and condition. Meiji Period (1868 - 1912). This piece was collected many years before the large melt down in Japan in the Fukushima region, making them much more difficult to get.

Archaic Indian Stone Statue Fragment
Archaic Indian stone fragment carving of a woman's upper half, sitting on Custom Iron stand. Strands of beads cascade down her shapely front. Her outstretched arms are fragmented at the elbows. Reticulated designs are carved behind her. Custom made iron stand is included. Dates between 6th-8th century.
