Antique Thai Bronze Gilt Buddha
Beautiful bronze buddha gilt with gold from the Bangkok period, 19th century. The buddha is seated beneath an archway, removable, with flames. The buddha has a serene expression with heavy lidded eyes, elongated ears, and tight curls. The buddha wears a garment with a star pattern. Seated atop a lotus throne on a pediment. It measures 22" tall, the base is 16" wide by 7" deep.

Antique Ghandaran Stucco Head
Beautiful Ghandaran modeled stucco head. This artifact is from the McCloud collection. Ghandara refers to the Peshawar valley and some parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This region was heavily influenced by greco-roman style as a result of Alexander the Great's campaign in the far east. The facial features are more european with almond shaped eyes and a bow shaped mouth. Cambodian Temple Doors
Beautiful Cambodian doors from the 18th century. High relief carvings in hard wood. Scenes from famous tale of the Ramayana. Depicted are a sea dragon atop Rama, who is supported by two soldiers from the monkey tribe. In the bottom register are small soldiers with staffs. Measure 45" wide 75 3/8" tall 4" deep.
