Antique Japanese Pair of Celadon Carp
Beautiful blue green glazed pair of celadon carp, studio ware from the Taisho period (1912-1925). One fish has an open mouth the other has a closed mouth. There scales and fins are exquisitely done. The fish measure 7" long and 8.5" long.

Antique Japanese Lacquered Case
Meiji period (1868-1912) beautiful Japanese guilt lacquered case with fans. There are six fans with cranes, landscape scenes, and fruit. The brass hardware has a lovely scrolling design. The interior has two drawers below one compartment with latticed sliding doors. It measures 14.5" tall by 16.5" wide by 9.5" deep.

Antique Japanese Long Rifle
Rare Japanese full length long rifle. Finely executed hiramaki lacquer of a coiling dragon. The small bore shows that this long rifle (tanegashima), was an arm made for display or the shooting of small game. Most likely owned by a Shogun of a major clan in Japan around early 17th century.
The piece is in near perfect condition, ranking in the top 95% percentile of Japanese matchlock arms.
Signed by a famous arms maker Ishikawa, in the town of As Shu, Zae Mun

Antique Japanese Carved Ivory Brush Holders
Beautiful pair of carved ivory tusk brush holders on wooden bases with prancing animals. Meiji period (1868-1912). Buddhist immortals including Ransaikena with Teishi-en. Buddhist immortal in contemplation. The other brush holder depicts Shoshi, a sinner who can produce a dragon. The tall sennin Bushishi carries an open scroll upon which he can ascend to heaven. Beautiful scroll of temple painting of Raigo as the buddha descending heaven with two attendants, Edo period (1644-1868). The image is painted on silk and mounted on a scrolling lotus pattern with gold. The ends of the scroll are bronze mountings. Slight wear to blue pigment. Image measures 44" long by 16.75" wide, scroll measures 67" long by 25" wide.
