Chinese Tang Dynasty Fat Lady Pottery
Chinese antique Pottery Fat Lady, Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), 14.25"H with traces of original red and black pigments on sleeves and crevices of body. Minor repairs to hair and neck. Oxford TL Test results consistent with 9th century dating. Fat lady was depicting the famous concubine, Yang Gu Fei, her asymetric coiffure is Duo Maji, 'just off horse look' with disheveled hairdo.
