Chinese Pair of Antique Carved Gaming Chairs
Pair of Chinese highly carved gaming chairs, carved of rosewood with natural dark color and beautiful grain, round seats, carved all over with designs of dragons, grapes and vines, birds, the back splat is carved with a scene of three immortals under a pine tree with a deer and a pair of bats, the curved arms of each chair is carved in the form of a dragon, the legs have demon heads and claw feet, each chair is carved with a total of 8 dragons (including 2 dragon fish), circa 1900.
