Antique Chinese bronze censor, with a hardwood lid with reticulated carvings of spirals in a plantlike form, topped with a nephrite jade finial of vibrant green, dark forest green, and white. The sides of the censor have spiral carvings with green, red, yellow, blue, white, and gold cloisonne serpents. The body of the censor sits atop three long legs, coming out of the mouths of beasts, and resting atop of a carved hardwood stand with pierced center designs. 19th century Size: Height 12 inches
