Antique Chinese shard box made of porcelain and silver. The porcelain lid has a charming scene of young boys playing in a courtyard. One boy looks down into a large basin that is cracked and a river of water pours out with a boy climbing out. Two boys are running towards an unknown destination. The boy in the center observes the unfolding scenes while he is watched by his companion. The box is made of silver. The outside has a beautiful floral design that has been hammered into it. It measures 8.5" long 7" wide 3" tall.
