Antique Japanese unusual tansu made from a very attractive Keyaki (elm wood) burl coated in original lacquer finish. It has drawers of varying sizes, with warabite shaped iron handles, the top and bottom drawers have decorative iron lock plating incised with a floral design, safebox in bottom corner with original key.
